Obesium and Miraflores Hospital opened in 2020. The new hospital has been established with two main goals: being closer to those patients who live in downtown Zaragoza, and offering advanced technology for the treatment of multiple illnesses. 

Obesium Clinic performs its activities at the new hospital facilities. There you will find a multidisciplinary team, expert in the treatment of obesity. The team stands out for its high surgical medical qualification at a European level, and it will be coordinated by Dr. Alvaro Bueno Delgado, general and bariatric surgeon specialized in obesity surgery. Dr. Bueno is a graduated from Clínica Universidad de Navarra, and St. Mary’s Hospital, London.

The hospital will have two buildings of four floors each, and it will be equipped with the best technology and facilities: 50 individual hospital beds will be available, an Emergency room equipped with seven cubicles for observation, six beds for the intensive care unit, and four operating rooms, one of which prepared to perform bariatric surgery. The center will also provide a large delivery room, an interventional radiology room with the latest technology, and consultations for over 40 specialties.
